"You either wanna run like hell or go with it..."
So we've been at this for a little over a week, which means we are halfway through our rehearsal process. What?! I think I finally know everybody's name, and tomorrow we have our designer run. In other words, this process is fast. I've often said that being cast in a show is like being in an arranged marriage (I'm sure I stole it from somebody far more clever than I am...but I've said it more...so there). In this case, it's like a shotgun marriage. (Maybe also stolen, but maybe my own). But your know what, I dig it! I don't think I'd want to do a Chekhov play in two weeks, but I think we are well on our way to cracking this Martin. I have to say that the cast is delightful. I mean, sure I get to work with two of my favorite actors (Trisha and Rich) again. But everybody is so good. And so kind.
